1. General Information This pilot common call is being published by the below-mentioned funding institutions between 31 October and 31 December 2005 in their respective countries. It is intended to establish transnational collaborative research projects on a specific area within flood risk management research called: “Risk assessment and risk management: Effectiveness and efficiency of non-structural flood risk management measures”. The following partner institutions from the CRUE consortium intend to finance the research projects initiated by this call:
Therefore, the call is divided into two parts: 1. A common section, which is published within all partner countries participating in the pilot call in the same form (Preamble and part A, “Common Regulations”) 2. National regulations, which are individually published by the funding institutions only in their countries (part B, “Specific Regulations”). 2. The announcements are supplied in the sequence of publication within the partner countries (31 December, 2005, at the latest).
4. Application Form For the submission of project proposals, two forms have to be completed: Form No.1 - Common Application Form: The form is to be completed in English and requires information on administrative details, a summary of the proposal, a list of work packages, calculated costs per partner and requested funding, time schedule and a detailed project description. The Common Application Form is to be sent to each of the national funding organisations involved in a collaborative project by the coordinator. It has to be submitted in printed and in electronic form (CD-ROM). Form No.2 - National Application Form: Additionally, the individual project partners have to submit a proposal according to the national funding rules.
